About your teacher...Elke West, German Instructor, Bitterroot Valley.

Elke West is a native of former East Germany. Her language education included Russian and English. After the unification of Germany she met her American husband in Germany.  Her further schooling included Early Childhood Education. She received her Degree as “Educator”, and worked in a Christian school.

In 1996, Elke and her husband moved to the beautiful Bitterroot valley, and Elke started working as a Daycare Provider until she opened her own Family Daycare.  She incorporated her German background into the curriculum teaching songs, prayers, and finger plays.  After their son was born, her desire to find a proven language program grew.

When she discovered Music Lingua, she knew that this was a good fit for the early learning style of young children, and will help her bring the German language to the children of the Bitterroot Valley.
