About your teacher - Melanie Dunne:

Melanie Dunne took Spanish in high school and became proficient in the language when she moved to Santiago, Chile in 1991. As a missionary there she spent her time working with the local people, learning the language, immersing herself in the culture and serving to the best of her ability.  She met her husband there and they continue to use Spanish in their home.  Upon returning to the States she worked as a translator for a bank, and has had the opportunity to use her Spanish periodically, including having two foreign exchange students from Venezuela and Chile in their home.

She started her own business teaching Spanish to children in Missoula, but found it difficult to find the type of materials she needed, especially music, and wasn't able to provide the kind of quality instruction that she felt the children needed.  Becoming a Music Lingua teacher was very exciting to her, as she can now do what she originally intended on doing with a quality curriculum.  She loves children, loves music and loves to speak Spanish!
