Lynn Tardif
Lynn Tardif spent her life living and working in bilingual environments. As a French Canadian from Quebec City her native languages were French and English which she spoke at home and as a professional accountant working in Montreal, Canada. Lynn and her husband later had the opportunity to live in Ecuador, Venezuela and Mexico as expatriates where she dedicated her time to studying Spanish and raising her children.
Lynn's two daughters, aged 5 and 9 are trilingual. She has dedicated the last 9 years to teaching her children French while living in Latin America. Lynn's hands on experience teaching languages to her children, lifelong study of French and Spanish and first-hand knowledge of the benefits multilingual environments provide have inspired her to teach young children French. Having personally experienced how easily children absorb and learn languages is the best motivator. There is nothing Lynn loves more than to hear young children enthusiastic about learning another language, knowing a new door to the world has been opened!
