Join the fun as we learn to talk about the activities in the home in our new language! Songs and activities in this unit cover such topics as greetings, setting the table, the different foods we eat, the members of the family, our pets, and the rooms of the house. Of course, we'll also learn things such as counting and the alphabet.

About your teacher:

Nicole Conry

I'm a native Spanish speaker from Montevideo, Uruguay (South America). I have always been interested in learning a new language, therefore, when I was 11 years old I asked my parents to enroll me in English classes. I studied English for 8 years in Uruguay and I enjoyed it so much! Now, I've been living in Colorado for 10 years, I've been married for 8 years, and I have three beautiful children. I decided to teach Spanish because my children are 100% bilingual and it makes me so happy to be able to communicate with them in my native language and to teach them everything about the Spanish culture. It's amazing how fast they're learning everyday. My eldest daughter who's 4 years old can speak with my family in Spanish and with her dad's family in English. She can translate from one language to another. That's why I want to give all kids the opportunity to learn a second language, have fun, and it certainly will open many doors in their future!! I'm very excited to be part of the Music Lingua Program.
