Life on the Ocean

In this unit we will explore Life on the Ocean! Whales, mermaids, pirates, sharks, submarines, octopi and little crabs - what an adventure in language! Along the way we'll learn about playing on the beach, what animals eat, clothing vocabulary, counting, colors, and plenty of functional phrases.

Price: $120/child with sibling discount of $30/additional child. This includes our awesome mailed-out materials: coloring book with all songs in Spanish and English, a small plush toy, music CD (or downloadable mp3s), storybook with audio CD, access to all songs and the story on a website, as well as materials for 12 weekly crafts, which reinforce vocabulary, to make at home. Rebecca Musy

Rebecca Musy is the mother of two extraordinary self-directed learners, ages 11 and 14, and the wife of an amazingly supportive husband. Born in the U.S., Rebecca was fortunate to attend an international high school in Belgium, and has had many adventures traveling with her friends and family. Her undergraduate degree is in Zoology, and as part of her education she studied bats in the jungles of Panama. She has a master's degree in Forestry, with an emphasis in satellite image processing and computer programming. She also speaks three languages: English, Spanish and French, has a black belt in Aikido, practices yoga and meditation, loves outdoor activities, arts and crafts and is an exuberant lifelong learner.
